Over the next few months, more than 300 000 students will be asked to rate their experiences at a TAFE institute, private training or adult and community education provider as part of the 2013 Student Outcomes Survey.

Managed by the National Centre for Vocational Education Research (NCVER), this annual survey provides information on vocational education and training (VET) students’ employment outcomes and satisfaction with their training.

Ms Sandra Pattison, NCVER’s General Manager, Statistics said it is important for students to participate in the survey as their feedback is invaluable.

“The survey will help training providers and governments improve the quality and relevance of training, and prospective students decide which training is right for them.

“Those who complete the survey will be entered into a draw to win a share of a $13 000 cash prize pool,” said Ms Pattison.

The Student Outcomes Survey is conducted on behalf of the Australian, state and territory governments. The results will be published in December 2013 on the NCVER website.
