The Federal Government has announced $377 million in funding for the country’s higher education sector, with regional universities to receive $268 million of the funding.

 

With state and territory contributions, $873 million will be invested in the country’s university and TAFE sectors.

 

The following funding has been confirmed:

  • $29.8 million for the University of Western Sydney
  • $20 million for Charles Darwin University
  • $24 million for the University of the Sunshine Coast
  • $22.9 million for Victoria University
  • $24.8 million for the University of Ballarat
  • $32.1 million for Southern Cross University
  • $36.6 million for the University of New England
  • $25.9 million for the University of Canberra
  • $22.3 million for Charles Sturt University
  • $48.9 million for the University of Southern Queensland
